It was metallic tasting just like regular blood heavy iron taste, but had a distinct sweetness. His head started pounding even more as the fluid entered his system attacking his nerves. His heart throbbed beating harder with each second that passes by. He drank in the blood his body was dying dispite the attempt to save him. It was common the body dies no matter what. And Alphonse was still feeling the dying effect. His relax system taking over he released Pride's wrist letting his own head fall back to the pillows behind his head. Involuntary tears leaked out of the corners of his eyes, his breathing shortened to dull gasps as death had taken over. This was a natural thing the vampire blood would not take effect till he has taken his last breath.*

His eyes did not close as most people would think mainly because this was not a natural death. Skin paled and facial muscles slackened under the loss of life. Will to live ceasing. Even his hair had lost it's glossy appeal dulling the once vibrant sheen.*
