[very early morning and he's trotting through the streets of Central, two boxes of chalk in hand and leaving two sticks each of chalk before every inhabited doorstep. and sticking them into Strategic Places such as under benches, keyholes, the space between bricks, and the like.]

[He's been walking around the city in a bit of a daze after talking to Noah. He doesn't know where he's going. Simply walking. Distraught. He spots the other sin and shrugs.]

Chalk? Why?

The alchemists will need it.

[blinks, and frowns a little sulkily]

Sloth isn't supposed to come up here. Father said he hasn't perfected him yet so he has to stay at the undergrou....

[Glares back at him but he can't seem to keep that glare, so instead he looks away. He finally figures that he should tell him. He moves closer to him and leans in then whispers into his ear, not wanting to let anyone else hear but him.]

All I know is, there's going to be an uprising. A war is about to break out right here in this city. Father and Bradley are behind it. I don't know when exactly...Maybe over the next few days. I'm finding information out about things as they progress. I do know that regular alchemy won't work against Father or Sloth. They have the ability to nullify all alchemy within a certain radius. Sloth can nullify both alchemy and magic. I don't know how..But..I overheard that as long as it isn't of Ishvallian decent, it won't work against them.

[He leans back and looks at him sadly.]

I have two options. I already visited the dimension witch and asked for her help. That's my backup plan if I can't talk Scar into working with me.

[blinks at said information]

[suddenly gasps at the mention of the 'Dimension Witch']

You should not consult with the Witch unless truly desperate! Plead with Scar. If there is anything I can do to help you convince Scar, I will help you.

Maybe there was a time that I was in on it..Before I knew the extent of it. I..I didn't know that they planned on killing every human here. I..Had no idea. And even after eating those stones I still can't bring myself to agree with what they're about to do. Men, women, and children. They view each and every human as worthless. Sloth doesn't know what the hell he's doing though. He's a blank slate and easily influenced.

I'm telling you this to warn you. I...I care about you too much to not warn you even though what I'm telling you right now could very well be the death of me because it's information that is vital and if the others found out I was telling you, they'd probably kill me.

[Shrugs and places his hands on Pride's shoulders.]

If Scar doesn't want to help, I already told the dimension Witch I would trade my life for the safety of everyone in this city. I'm supposed to meet with her later today. It's a sacrifice that I may have to make..I..I can't let everyone here be massacred. I won't allow that to happen.

That is usually what it takes to create the genuine Stone. [frowns at the mention of Sloth] I take it that Sloth is newly created, then...

[He blinks and rubs his cheek. Ouch? Yeah that stings.]

Sloth is only three days old. And I didn't say that you'd betray me or anything like that. What I meant was there are eyes and ears all around this place. Hell Father has one of the Envys, maybe even two working for him now so I have to be careful.

I...Nothing is set in concrete as far as the deal goes, damn it. Not yet anyways. She hasn't even decided if she wants to accept the offer or not. And what the hell was I supposed to do? I don't have very many options. I...I can't..I can't just...I can't just suddenly make everything better with the wave of a single hand!

There is still time to try and fix things without the dimension Witch's help, but..I don't know how much time we have. I only got word of all this entire thing two days ago so I think we might have a couple of days until things start and their plan picks up. If we can somehow stop everything from happening, somehow....I couldn't do anything or say anything sooner because I was being watched.
