I would love that very much, my angel -smiles, kisses your lips softly- Where shall we start?

I-uh- I don't know. Um- You- I- You probably have more experience with this; h-how does it usually go?

Well, we tell each other more about ourselves. Our families, our dreams, our goals. Then we can see how we can support each other in these things. We can also see each other more often, do more things together, see more closely each others likes and dislikes.

Um... Okay. We'll do that then. You can come by more often for dinner if you want. It would be more practical than going out all the time. [she's money conscious she has a lot of people to take care of and is in sore need of a bigger house]

I've got another idea. I understand you run a sort of boarding house, is that it? How about if I stay over and help you out? I can keep things fixed, maybe add onto the house if you need it, even help you cook and clean up.

Not really a boarding house. Um- I just let people stay with me, because I had the extra room at the time. It's really just a flat over the store, that luckily enough had a big attic.

Well then you really DO need help. Lessee.. the building next to your store, is it empty? If so, I have an idea.

[shakes her head in the negative] There's a candy store on one side and a hardware store on the other.

Ok then, how about behind your building? What's there?

A street. Really the only way to build would be up.

-nods- Or move into a bigger building. I think there's an empty one bigger than yours near the railyard. If you want I can remodel it and help you move. Or, I can build up onto the building you have now. Your choice.

I think it would be best to keep the store where it is... but-

Oh- but renovating would take so much time and I couldn't pay you...

-holds your hands, smiles at you- My sweet angel, it'll take me only a short time to do this. And having the pleasure of your company is all the payment I need.

Now tell me, how many more floors do you want on this?

Um- well maybe just one extra floor for now- but what do you mean it'll take only a short time? Adding a whole floor won't that take a lot of time and money? And what about the materials?

You must not have been around many alchemists, have you? -smiles- Allow me to demonstrate my abilities -takes out a reddish purple stone- This will only take a short while with this -holds the stone in one hand, places the other on the side of her building. He concentrates, and the building glows, then gains an extra floor, like a plant growing from the ground-

But... that's- Alchemy can do that? ... But what was the exchange? There has to be an exchange right? That's what Master Edward said, and all of the books.

Normally, yes. But not with this -shows you the stone- It's made with bits of meteorite, red water, and some of my own blood. It works like the actual stone, but..it has a nasty side effect...it drains the user temporarily.

[looks over to where Russel is and seems to notice he looks a little worse for wear than he did before] What do you mean? [part curious part suspicious]

I mean.. the bigger the alchemy, the more the stone drains my energy...The only drawback of using it...-grins at you so you won't worry- I'm ok, I just need some rest..

M-maybe it isn't such a good idea then.

-smiles- But it's already done -points at the new floor-

... I- [looks back at the building] I guess it is. [wonders how this is going to go over with Leo and Rick]

-sits down heavily on a nearby bench- Now my sweet, what else would you like for me to do for you? -kisses your hand-

[shakes head] Nothing. I mean, I don't need anything- so uh-

You said it took a lot out of you, right? Maybe you should rest a while.

Good idea. Give me a minute, and I'll go in and lie down.
