[Flitting across roofs to follow your prince without detection is hard work, but it's made harder when you step into a vortex of dressing room proportions. Just as young Ran Fan happens to be doing which, as one would expect, quite the confusing conundrum. Especially when stepping through that vortex means losing your footing and falling on your ass. How untrained bodyguard-like. She does jump up, hope to the gods or whatever the hell she believes in [dragon?!] that nobody seen that. She falls into a fighting stance as if the universe pulled the proverbial chair out from under her and shouts rather frantically when that darn prince she was following disappears from sight-]
