-looks around, takes in the unfamiliar surroundings. Sniffs the air, frowning as he patted his satchel of vampire slaying equipment-Vampires. Thanks to Scar's training, I can smell the bloodsuckers-smirks as he walks-If they have wicked intent, they better pray they don't run into me.

...Al... is that you?

-smiles- of course it's me! I know, it HAS been a while since we've seen each other, hasn't it?

Ah... yeah! *Close-mouthed smile; the Al he knows knows about his "condition", but he's not so sure this is the same one.* It's good to see you again.

You too...wait. You look awful pale. You ok?

Y-yeah, I'm fine... Why do you ask?

-frowns in worry- You look deathly pale, like one who's either bitten by, or is, a vampire.

A-a vampire? Th-th-that's silly, Alphonse, v-vampires aren't real!

Brother and I used to believe that too, Fletcher. That is until he got bitten by one. Now I'm looking for the fiend, so I can destroy him and restore Ed. -smiles- Sounds almost familiar, huh?

D-destroy? E-Edward was turned into a vampire?!

Yeah. That's why I trained to be a vampire slayer. I was the only way Ed would let me go after him. Even after my training, though, he wanted to come with me.

...oh...

But there's got to be a way to fix him. Brother and I, we're looking for a way to turn ourselves back into humans. If we find a way...

So you HAVE been turned -pats your shoulder in a friendly manner- I'll help you, my friend. There is a way to be human again, and that's to kill the head vampire, the one that changed you and your brother.

...but we're stuck here. Everyone says there's no way to leave Central. And we haven't seen him since the mansion collapsed in Xenotime.

-frowns- So I see. If he does show up here, let me know and I'll handle him.

-smiles, pats your back- I'll help you any way I can.

*Flinches a little.* Th-thank you.

A-and I promise my brother and I don't attack people indiscriminately. W-w-we only do what we need to do.

And I promise I only destroy vampires that attack recklessly. I will never hurt you or Russell. I can't, just like I can't hurt Ed. You two are like brothers to me.
