*Pride knew what he was doing. He ended up at the fake Central on purpose, unlike so many of it's current residents. His maker, Roy, had let him out of his sight for only a split second before he took off and just like that, he set out on his own. He knew full well that it was the wrong thing to do. Did he care? Not very likely. He was still going through the changes, becoming accustomed to the vampire lifestyle. His former human half, Edward, still not wanting to give into things. He detested that vampire half of himself and although he was strong willed, his vampire side had the upper hand, for now anyways. He grinned as he arrived at Central and made his way onto the top of a nearby building.*

Oh, Roy my dear you are missing out...Your trivial little rules mean nothing to me now. Not here. Not with you being absent. And now? I'll have this entire city to myself. It's time to play. But what shall I do? Rip them apart, have a snack, or both?

*He muses to himself now as he brushes a few fingers through his golden locks.*

I don't have to follow anyone's rules anymore. This is a whole new game and I'll be in control this time around.

He's a little bastard (think of a mix of Lestat from both Interview With The Vampire and Queen Of The Damned mixed together and throw in Alucard's (from the series Hellsing) powers also. Roy is like the Marius to him of his world (his maker.) I thought I'd bring this Pride in since we have a few vampires running around already lol. Unlike many, his kind can only be killed by another vampire. So this will be interesting XD Enjoy!]]

W-we're not... I mean... I don't think that... *He's getting rather nervous discussing this with Pride.*

Brother and I can't go out during the daytime.

You...Can't?

*He frowned. He didn't like the sound of that at all. Some of the most interesting things happened in the daytime. That and day walkers had more to feast on.*

So we are a little different then.

*Well, that and daytime is a much nicer place for someone who likes plants as much as Fletcher. D:*

Y-yeah.

Then you, love, are what my kind would call a Classic Vampire. One that humans know the inner workings of. There are not many of you in my world. Those that are, are the elders. I am what one would call a hybrid. A day walker. One that uses vampire magic and other abilities.

W-wow... I don't know if any vampires like that exist where I'm from. I don't know very many others...

Our worlds are so different. It's intriguing really. But at the same time sad in a way. When was the last time you saw the sun rise? When you actually witnessed it with your own eyes instead of hiding from it?

...I can't. It hurts.

Would you like to see it? The sunrise that is. It won't be something of this world. It's more of an illusion than anything. It will feel real though. The warmth upon your skin. But it won't harm you. I've done it before for an elder friend of mine that hadn't seen the sun in centuries since she wasn't a day walker like me.

You can... you can do that? I mean... I've seen pictures, and where I'm from there's something called television now, but those aren't... I mean...

Y-you can do that?

*He gave a thoughtful smile.*

Yes. It's one of the things my kind can do if you're skilled enough. It's a technique called phasing. It took me a while to get the hang of it, but after a hundred years, I not only did that but perfected it as well.

Wow, that's really incredible...

*He actually sounds a little desperate, if one is listening just right.*

Here, I'll show you.

*He walked over to the building they were standing by and rubbed his hands together, creating a crimson colored ball of light in his palms. He then pressed them against the wall. The energy he created combining with the structure. Not more than a moment later, the wall turned into a visual illusion of a beautiful sunrise that one would be watching if they were sitting atop of a grassy green hill.*

It will only last for a few minutes, but it's the closest I can give you to a real sunrise.

*He stares transfixed at the illusion, not even reaching out to touch it for fear that that will make it vanish. He doesn't even have the words to say anything to Pride; it's been thirty years, after all.*

*He knew it must have been ages since the other had witnessed a sunrise and he was glad he could give him this memory so that he wouldn't forget what it looked like.*

If you ever want to see something like this again, all you have to do is ask. It's not a hassle at all.

Th-thank you.

*But otherwise, quiet Fletcher is quiet.*

*The illusion faded away after about ten minutes and when it vanished, all that remained was a small crimson light that soon faded away.*

*He knew that there were other things on the younger one's mind. But he didn't want to question them. He had a feeling that he was sad about not being able to witness things such as sunrises and what not. He gave a small nod.*

Perhaps one day things will change.
