*Edward had set out shortly after sunset, to do just what Alfons had insisted he don't do- worry about her condition and find the vampire that bit her. The homunculus hadn't formed a game plan for what to do just yet, but he was much more worried with coming face to face with the creature - he'd handle the rest once he got there.*

[ooc: I won't be replying to this entry for about twelve hours, because... yeah work. I also don't have time to reply to comments just yet, so anyone that's waiting on me in another thread- I'll get to it, in the morning. <3]

*Ed is stalking through the night, or wtfever it is vampires do. Yeah.*

*he was watching people as they walked by, set on his goal regardless of how impossible it seemed. He glanced up at everyone that walked by, took in their appearance and tried to rationalize how he could tell one from another - when this Ed walked by. The homunculus cocked his head to the side and regarded him curiously before murmuring* You're not human, are you? *No, he wasn't even sure how he'd come to that conclusion... Only that this Ed didn't give him the same feelings the others walking around did. It actually reminded him of something else, all together.*

*Ed stopped walking and turned to face the one who'd spoken -- this one felt like Envy, and like the black-haired Al he'd met.*

What's it to you if I'm not?

*The homunculus actually smirked at the question, studying the other. He'd never come face to face with a vampire, so he wasn't sure what to expect of one - or even how to tell the difference. Now the question became ... how to determine whether or not he was even the right species*

I'm looking for someone.. That's not human, or a homunculus. There aren't very many other species here, so I'm thinking that if you're neither... Maybe you could help me figure it out.

He's a vampire, from what I've been told.

*It took the question being asked for him to realize the truth of the matter. Protective as he was, Edward knew that he wasn't the human Al had wanted him to be, he just wanted to understand more than anything.* He bit someone that I know, and I want to find out why.

And who is this vampire you're looking for? Maybe I know him.

I don't know much about him... She wouldn't tell me.

Just that he bit her, and after she fainted he left her at the inn. What kind of person- .. does that?

A nice one, if you ask me. He could've just left her out in the streets, after all.

But, why bite her in the first place? What did she do to deserve... being left like that?

Vampires have to drink human blood to stay alive. Do you really think a lot of people are going to volunteer?
