*Hands up, a bit, as if feeling the air against them - he's got quite a few bandages over his face (mostly his eyes, though), and is wearing a leather collar*

....what -happened- to you? They're...they're burns, aren't they...

*quiet* You just got here, didn't you. And you're from a different world...

...Brother? Wh-what do you mean?

*against his better judgment, comes a little closer* It's...kind of like looking at a cut gem. And each facet is a different world. We may have different histories, or be different things... I've seen other mes that are -girls-. *little snicker at that* But in the end...we're still -us-.

So you and I, we're from different worlds. But you're still Al, and I'm still Ed. We're in a place that brings all these different worlds together somehow. We're still working on finding a way out, but...

*quiet* Do you understand, now?

I...guess I can't argue that that doesn't make sense, any more.

Like... *puts hand out again* Like from a wrist or something?

... *looks at it, resisting the urge to pounce him right then and there* ....y-yeah. *eyes the kid's neck...it's probably bandaged up too, isn't it.*

*kneels down, taking Al's wrist in his hand* I'll...I'll try to make it easier. But you're going to feel something like a needle prick, okay? *takes a deep breath...and gently bites into Al's wrist, lapping at the blood instead of directly draining the kid. No sense in making it any more scary than it already is...*

*a little bit, yeah D:*

O-okay, Brother... *standing quietly - heart racing...and wincing a little as he's bit, trying to relax as he feels him....licking up the blood, like a kitten would milk*

*takes just enough to take the edge off his hunger before pressing his sleeve over the wound, letting it clot now* ....thank you.

Y-you're welcome... *still seems a bit unnerved, but smiles anyway*
