[Having been trapped in this city for a few weeks completely ignoring that the dressing room has been completely dead for nearly a year, wizard!Fletcher has gotten an idea on how to escape. He's gone out into a public square, drawn his wand, and is pointing it at random small-ish objects.]
Wingardium Leviosa!
[Doing magic outside of school, especially in front of Muggles, is supposed to get the attention of the Ministry of Magic, right?]

DAMMIT KETSU. I HAVE NOT LOGGED INTO A LING JOURNAL IN MONTHS
[Sup, have a Slytherin-clad fourth year, tilting his head at you. Is this a CR restart or picking up from a year ago.]
WELL WHY NOT?????
[SUP. I was thinking picking-up from where we left off.]
MUSE SHENANIGANS AND A VERY LONG STORY.
I did make that rather large sign to find your brother, remember? No one's come to bust my chops over that one.
[Awesome.]

...o-oh, that's true... [And Russel has been apparating around just because he can.] Do you think they can't detect us using magic here?
no subject
I think perhaps where ever it is we are, is a bit out of range for the ministry. Good news for our sort of hijinks, bad news for the prospect of us ever getting home, I think.
[Russel is Ling's kind of trouble-maker, obviously.]
no subject
Well-- maybe they can still detect it, but they just haven't been able to find us? [He doesn't know how this stuff works] So if we keep trying...
no subject
It's entirely possible. Maybe all we really need is a big enough boom so that they can find us, easier.
A beacon, if you will.

[Ed's been around long enough to realize that there are duplicates of everyone he should know running around this place, so he doesn't assume he knows this Fletcher - but he's pretty sure he's got the name right, at least.]
What are you doing? [It looks like some attempt at magic, Ed has to bite his tongue to refrain from telling the small boy that it's not going to work... still carefully keeping his distance.]
no subject
Huh? I'm, um, just... using magic. [But how does this guy know his name?]
no subject
Now I've really seen everything. [He mutters, staring at the trash can as if Fletcher had been completely forgotten about.
After a moment he looks back at Fletcher, trying to sound casual.] That all you can do?

How someone with alien morphing technology can be freaked out by a kid using 'magic' is beyond even him, so yeah - playing it cool.]
Where'd you learn that?
no subject
Where I'm from, Fletcher was a Ravenclaw~!
And those are the wrong robes!
OMG I remember you~
Um... No, these are my usual school robes. And--And I know I'm not supposed to do magic outside of school, but I thought that if the Ministry noticed, they could find us...
I REMEMBER ME TOO!!! (shocking, I know. XD)
And then you could be expelled!
no subject
E-expelled? But--but I'm sure if I explained, then...!

I know at least where I come from, they can be somewhat strict. Brother's had many near-incidents at the orphanage.
no subject
I know they're strict, but I can't think of any other way to get out of here.

N-no, I mean, what it is you do. The...magic.
[No matter how long she's been used to that, it's *STILL* hard to say that without her inner scientist screaming under piles and piles of textbooks.]
My boyfriend, Alphonse--he does similar things, is all.
